Our keynote speakers are as follow:     

Dovell Bonnett has been creating computer security solutions for over 20 years. His passionate belief that technology should work for humans, and not the other way around, has lead him to create innovative solutions that protect businesses from cyber attacks, free individual computer users from cumbersome security policies and puts IT administrators back in control of their networks.

Dovell has spent most of his career designing solutions to solve business security needs, incorporating multiple applications onto single credentials using both contact and contactless smartcards. He has held positions at National Semiconductor, Siemens (Infineon), Certicom, Motorola and HID. In addition to his involvement with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Elliptic Curve Cryptography, he has also held a Top Secret security clearance with the U.S. Navy while working on communications for nuclear submarines at GTE Systems.

In 2005, he founded Access Smart LLC, to provide logical access control solutions to businesses. His premiere product, Power LogOn, is a multifactor authentication enterprise password manager.

Dovell has contributed to numerous papers for the Smart Card Alliance, is the author of two books, Online Identity Theft Protection for Dummies and Making Passwords Secure: How To Fix the Weakest Link in Cybersecurity, and is a frequent speaker on the topic of passwords, cybersecurity, and understanding and building secure, affordable and appropriate computer authentication infrastructures.

Pete Robbins is President of Strata IT, an MSP based in Encino, CA, that services Aerospace, Healthcare & Legal industries. Strata IT was formed in 2007 when Pete and his business partner Keith Stark merged their two independent companies. Pete & Keith were each running their own technology companies, a mix of SMB support, Web Dev & Hosting and Programming for Commercial & Government contracts. They each knew, that on their own, they would only grow so much or be able to sell so many hours, or even take a vacation. The business climate was not great in 2007, so growth was slow and looking back to have even have survived through that period of time is a miracle. But in 2012 the company saw zero growth and needed to make changes. Within the first 4 months of 2013, 17 new contracts were signed and 2 fulltime contractors were brought on board, the company saw 48% growth in 2013. Strata IT now has 8 Full-time employees and is on track to more than double revenue in 2014. Strata is the Microsoft winner of the Rising Star award.

Juan Rodriguez is the founder and CEO of many different IT related companies including Integrated Digital Technologies Corp, Global Trainer Inc and Axxiom Data Inc just to mention a few. His best skills are being an entrepreneur, innovator and a visionary. Mr. Rodriguez has over 25 years of experience in the following areas: Vocational and Corporate Training, Networking, Programming, Web Design, Sales, Marketing, Branding, SEO and Accounting. Some of his career highlights include the management and coordination of multiple projects both in the development arena, the educational market and non-profit organizations. His clients range from corporate America to startups, small businesses to individuals. His organizations are directly partnered with Microsoft, CompTIA, IBM, EC-Council, VMWare, Symantec, and many others IT organizations. Mr. Rodriguez has been the recipient of multiple awards: Outstanding Latino Entrepreneur of the Year for Verizon Wireless, South Bay Workforce Investment Board Training Center Performance, Educational Mentor of the year, just to mention a few. His educational background is extensive: Management and Business Administration, UCLA; BS in Computer Science, CSULA; BS in Mathematics, CSULA; Associate Degree, PCC; Accounting Certificate, PRC; Microsoft Certified Trainer, Microsoft Office Specialist Master, CompTIA Certs, Constant Contact Expert, QuickBooks and Adobe Certifications and many other IT related Certifications. He has provided and/or coordinated both IT consulting and training projects for major companies such as: Huntington Memorial, Disney, Paramount Pictures, MGM, American Red Cross, Bellagio, One Lambda, Sony, City of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles, Metropolitan Water District and many more as well as trained thousands of vocational students via government related programs such as the Workforce Investment Act (WIA); Veteran GI Bill; Employment Training Panel, etc.
